Culture Days 2026 returns for September 18 to October 4!
Culture Days is a national celebration of arts, culture and heritage culminating in two weeks of free “behind the scenes” activities to discover Caledon artists, creators, performers and heritage.
We welcome back the annual celebration of Culture Days! This national celebration of arts, culture, and heritage is scheduled to take place from September 18 to October 4 across Caledon and seeks to eliminate barriers, engage residents and attract visitors while celebrating vibrancy in our communities.
Caledon Creative Arts Weekend
Experience a weekend of creativity, culture, and community at the annual Caledon Creative Arts Festival - now expanded to two days of arts, entertainment, and fun!
Join us Friday evening for Caledon Under the Stars, featuring live music, a local musical theatre performance, a movie, and food and drinks under the open sky. Then return Saturday for the Caledon Creative Arts Festival, where you can explore hands-on workshops, enjoy live performances, discover local artists, and shop a curated arts market.
Whether you're looking to get creative, discover local talent, enjoy live entertainment, or spend time with family and friends, there's something for everyone throughout this exciting weekend celebration. Funding provided by the Government of Ontario.
Day One: Caledon Under the Stars
Friday, September 25 - 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Caledon East Community Complex - Soccer Field
Kick off the weekend under the stars with an evening of live music, local musical theatre, a movie, food, drinks, and community. Bring your friends and family and enjoy a relaxed evening celebrating Caledon's vibrant arts and culture scene.
Theatre performance provided by the Stage Academy Theatre Association.

Day Two: Caledon Creative Arts Festival
Saturday, September 26 - 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Caledon East Community Complex – Soccer Field
Spend the day immersed in creativity! Explore a curated arts market featuring local makers and artists, take part in hands-on workshops, enjoy live performances, and discover the many ways art and creativity bring our community together.

Registration for each workshop will open one hour prior to the workshop time. Registration will take place on a first-come first-serve basis at the Town of Caledon tent onsite at the event. Please visit the tent to register for a workshop and receive a workshop ticket.All workshops are free and have 15 spots available per workshop, unless otherwise indicated.

Caledon CultureFEST
Experience the World at Caledon CultureFest! Join us at the Humber River Centre for a day to Celebrate, Experience and Learn about the many cultures that make Caledon, Ontario and Canada so richly and beautifully diverse. Enjoy cultural snack samplings, brilliant dance and musical performances, kids’ fun zone, a curated collection of cultural artifacts, photo booth and much more! Remember to wear traditional cultural clothing or colors.

Hit the road with your favourite art-lovers and embark on a scenic, self-guided road trip to over a dozen studio stops across Caledon. As part of Caledon Public Library’s Culture Days lineup, be sure to visit the Library's booth at the Caledon Creative Arts Festival (September 26) and Caledon CultureFest (October 3), where you can help weave a community water wreath led by Indigenous artist, Bree Leggett.Bookmark Contest Sep 4 – Oct 4
Draw, paint, or design the front of a bookmark to enter the library’s 2026 Kids’ and Teens’ Bookmark Contest. Pick up your blank bookmark template from any Caledon Public Library branch and return it with your artwork. Please include your name, age, and the best way to contact you.
The contest opens Friday, September 4 and closes Sunday, October 4. Three winners from each age group (0-6, 7-9, 10-13 and 13-17) will be chosen.
Please note that, once you submit your art, it becomes the property of Caledon Public Library. We have the right to reprint, display, or share photos of your art online, etc. If you are chosen as a winner, we may invite you to come in for a photo with your bookmark.
