Village of Bolton Heritage Conservation District now in effect

Caledon’s first heritage conservation district, the Village of Bolton Heritage Conservation District (Bolton HCD), is now designated under the Ontario Heritage Act. The Bolton HCD Plan allows for new construction or alterations on properties in the District provided the neighbourhood’s cultural heritage is conserved. Caledon Fire urges caution as water levels rise

With recent warm weather and rainfall, Caledon Fire and Emergency Services is advising residents to stay clear of rivers, creeks, ponds and other bodies of water. Rising water levels have produced flood conditions in some areas along with fast-flowing waterways that can pose a significant threat to safety.

Electric vehicles have been quickly gaining popularity in Ontario and across Canada due to their environmental benefits. The Town of Caledon and its Council have actively supported electric vehicles through the installation of both Level 2 and Level 3 charging stations.
