Caledon Council Community Golf Tournament contributes $91,300 to Bolton Camp

On September 6, 2017 hundreds of golfers descended on Osprey Valley Golf Course for the 14th edition of the Caledon Council Community Golf Tournament. Under the leadership of Caledon Council – and with the support of a full slate of sponsors – the 2017 Tournament raised well over $100,000, passing a milestone of one million dollars given back to the community over the life of the Tournament.

Caledon resident Isabel Bassett was today inducted into Caledon’s Walk of Fame. The former journalist, broadcaster, provincial politician, author and advocate for women’s issues joined a distinguished list of former honourees that includes sports entrepreneur Conn Smythe, art collectors Robert and Signe McMichael, writers Farley Mowat and Robertson Davies and film director Norman Jewison.

Caledon invests gas tax funds in local infrastructure

The Town of Caledon is investing millions of dollars from federal gas tax funding into local infrastructure projects. In 2016 alone over $2.3 million was spent to repair bridges, fix sidewalks and restore roads.

Town of Caledon offices, facilities and non-emergency services will be closed Monday, October 9, 2017 for Thanksgiving Day and will reopen Tuesday, October 10, 2017.
The following is a list of facility closures:
- All libraries
- All recreation facilities
- Animal Shelter
- POA Court (Provincial Offences at Town Hall and at Zina Street Court House in Orangeville)
