Town of Caledon Council approved the 2020 Budget during the Town Council meeting on December 17, 2019, which focuses on community infrastructure and services while keeping tax increases reasonable for Caledon residents and businesses.

Town of Caledon Thanksgiving Day Closures

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

Town of Caledon offices, facilities and non-emergency services will be closed Monday, October 14, 2019 for Thanksgiving Day. 

This includes:

  • Libraries
  • Recreation facilities PLEASE NOTE: Recreation facilities designated as advance voting locations will be open for voting purposes only.
  • The Caledon Animal Shelter
  • The Provincial Offences Administration (Court) in Caledon East and Orangeville
  • Town Hall
  • Caledon Fire and Emergency Services Administration

Economic Development Strategy Surveys Launched

The Town of Caledon is developing a new Economic Development Strategy to guide the Town’s activities over the next ten years and we'd like your input. 

Community input is an integral part of the process, to help inform priorities. Input will be gathered through online business and community surveys and a telephone business survey.  

A random telephone Business Retention & Expansion (BR + E) survey will help the Town to better understand the future plans and needs of local businesses...

GO Transit service in Bolton extended

The Honourable Sylvia Jones, MPP for Dufferin-Caledon, and His Worship Allan Thompson, Mayor of the Town of Caledon, today issued a joint statement announcing the temporary extension of GO Transit service in Bolton.
