Where is the work happening?

• On The Gore Road from Healy Road to King Street, Town of Caledon

What are we doing?

• The work includes:
  • removal and replacement of asphalt pavement on The Gore Road;
  • removal of granular shoulder and replacement with asphalt shoulder;
  • removal and replacement of steel beam guide rails;
  • intersection improvements and traffic signal modifications.

When?

• Construction Start: August 2024 - Finish: October 2024 (weather permitting)

Notices of Passing for 11 of 12 Rezoning Applications Under Mayoral Direction

On June 25, 2024, Town Council passed 11 of the 12 Rezoning Applications Under Mayoral Direction. 

The Zoning By-law Amendment Applications are to amend Comprehensive Zoning By-law 2006-50, as amended, to rezone lands to provide a range of housing and land uses that aim to advance Caledon’s Housing Pledge and the prescribed provincial priority of building 1.5 million new residential units by December 2031.
