Heritage Designation: Giffen Farmhouse

Town of Caledon intends to designate the Giffen Farmhouse at 12461 McLaughlin Road as a heritage property.

12461 McLaughlin Road contains a well-crafted, two storey, hip roofed farmhouse clad in a red brick veneer. The farmhouse was built in the early 1890s for James and Sarah Giffen, members of a prominent local pioneer family.

The Future Expansion of Caledon East Community Centre

The Town of Caledon is hosting an open house on Thursday, June 7, 2018 about the future expansion of the Caledon East Community Complex.

The Town is in the process of designing the phase 3 expansion which is intended to provide additional amenities such as:

Lina Marino Parking Lot Resurfacing

The Town of Caledon Community Services has contracted parking lot resurfacing work at Lina Marino Park, located in Valleywood.

Work includes the removal of the existing asphalt surfacing and the installation of a new asphalt parking lot. The parking lot will be closed during construction.
