Firearms By-law Amendment Postponed

Please be advised the proposed Firearms By-law previously scheduled for the General Committee Meeting on May 7, 2024 at 2:30pm is being postponed until a later date for further consideration. 

The public will be notified on the next steps as more information becomes available.

CALEDON, ON (April 30, 2024) – A Caledon firefighter could visit your home between May and October as part of the Home Safe Home door-to-door program. Launched in 2007, the program encourages residents to check that they have working smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms and provides the opportunity to learn more about fire safety from firefighters.

 McLaughlin Road Sidewalk Widening, Inglewood

The road intersection of McLaughlin Road and McKenzie St and 120m South will undergo temporary lane closures for reconstruction of sidewalk on the North side of the road, asphalt rehabilitation, and a new crosswalk.
