During the Town Council meeting on January 22, 2019, Council approved the 2019 Budget which focuses on providing key community infrastructure and service enhancements while keeping overall tax increases reasonable in Caledon.

Throughout any year, a great deal of focus is placed on the programs and services that the Town of Caledon provides to the community. What isn’t often discussed is the commitment of Town staff in helping those in need in Caledon.

Caledon Council Golf Tournament Helps Fund Supportive Housing Project

The Caledon Council Community Golf Tournament (CCCGT) is pleased to announce that Raising the Roof, the primary recipient of its funding for 2018, will receive $64,002 towards the renovation of a heritage home for use as supportive housing for adults living with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
The property being renovated is located at 1 Cedar Mains Drive in Caledon. A heritage property near Highway 50 and Old Church Road, the building is known locally as “the Church House.”

The Town of Caledon recently received the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting (2017 Annual Report) and the Canadian Award for Financial Reporting (2017 Financial Statements) for the sixth and seventh consecutive year, respectively. The 2018 to 2022 Town of Caledon Council was sworn in tonight at a special inaugural meeting of Council.
In front of a large crowd of family, friends, members of the public and media, Justice of the Peace Valerie G. Carty officiated as the Mayor and each Member of Council read the Declaration of Office.
