CALEDON, ON (October 29, 2024) – On Monday, October 28, the Ontario Fire Marshal officially designated Caledon Fire and Emergency Services (CFES) as the GTA’s second Regional Training Centre. Caledon’s facility, which is located in Caledon Village, demonstrates the Town’s commitment to excellence in emergency response training and community safety and positions CFES as a leader in training emergency responders across the region.

Caledon Fire and Emergency Services to celebrate the official designation of its Regional Training Centre.
Members of the media are invited to attend the announcement and hear remarks from the Ontario Fire Marshal, Mayor Annette Groves and Caledon Fire Chief Dave Pelayo about what this designation means for Caledon Fire and Emergency Services and other fire services in the region.
