Notice of Commencement Active Transportation Master Plan

The Town of Caledon is developing an Active Transportation Master Plan (ATMP). The ATMP will identify a well-connected and safe active transportation network and its implementation strategy. The ATMP will encourage residents and visitors to walk, bike, hike, and become more active as they live, work and play within the community.

August 10, 2022 – Today, the Town of Caledon held a groundbreaking ceremony celebrating the new baseball diamonds that will be part of a new sports park located at the corner of Duffy’s Lane and Emil Kolb Parkway in Bolton.
Funded entirely through development charge revenue, the new sports park will feature two baseball diamonds with lighting, a parking lot and reserved space for a future washroom/change room building.

What are we doing?
- Emergency Culvert Lining at Centreville Creek Road (175 meters North of Patterson Sideroad).
- Relining of a single culvert along Centreville Creek Road.
- The scope shall also include the installation of environmental protection measures, a temporary work platform for installation of the culvert liner, and restoration of disturbed areas to existing conditions or better.

Boston Mills Road will undergo a road closure for the replacement of this structure. The last available emergency access available Eastbound from Creditview Road is 0 Chinguacousy Road (cemetery).
