August 20, 2024 (CALEDON, ON) – In the spring of 2021, like much of Ontario, Caledon was encountering a wave of an invasive species known as the spongy moth caterpillar. It was not unusual that year to see these caterpillars crawling up the sides of trees, houses, garages and decks, feasting on the leaves of trees and impacting the health of our tree population. Town of Caledon recruiting for new Community Recognition Task Force

August 20, 2024 (CALEDON, ON) – The Town of Caledon is looking to recruit dedicated residents to be part of the new Community Recognition Task Force.
The task force will consist of five community volunteers (four members and one chair) with experience supporting various initiatives within Caledon and will be responsible for recommending award winners to Council for the:
- Caledon Civic Awards Program; and
- Caledon Walk of Fame.
