KLM Planning Partners, on behalf of Villa Lago Residences, have submitted a proposed Draft Plan of Subdivision, Draft Plan of Condominium and Zoning By-law Amendment.

A public meeting will be scheduled after the application has been circulated to internal departments and external agencies.

The Town of Caledon’s recreation department will have $10,000 from the Ontario Sport and Recreation Communities Fund to support the “Caledon Leadership Development Bootcamp” initiative.

This funding, from the Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Culture, will be used to support a leadership training series that will kick off after National Coaches Week and run from September 2016 to March 2017.

Starting August 2, 2016 there will be road construction throughout the Lotus Point subdivision. Please refer to the construction notice and location map appended below.  

The following activities will occur on the roads highlighted in the attached map:
  • Lowering of the manholes on the roads. Steel plates will be placed over the manholes as required for vehicular safety.

SWIFT funding announcement

Federal and Provincial governments announce funding to support broadband access to Caledon and beyond

The Federal and Provincial governments are investing $90 million dollars each in the Southwestern Integrated Fibre Technology (SWIFT) project.  SWIFT supports the expansion of access to broadband by delivering fibre optic coverage to over 350 communities across southwestern Ontario, including Caledon. The total project cost is estimated at $281 million.
