Town of Caledon disappointed by more scare tactics and misleading allegations from Democracy Caledon

CALEDON, ON (December 10, 2024) – The Town of Caledon has been served with a lawsuit filed by Democracy Caledon that challenges the 12 priority zoning by-laws that the Town passed in June 2024. The suit alleges that the by-laws are beyond the powers of Council’s authority because they do not conform with certain land use policies as set out in the Town’s Official Plan (Future Caledon).
