The Town of Caledon is preparing for two new mobile Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) cameras which will rotate among community safety zones where vehicle speed is a concern. The Region of Peel also has a mobile ASE camera for Regional roads in Caledon. Next month, ‘Coming Soon’ signage will be installed in two community safety zones in Bolton (Columbia Way) and Southfields (Kennedy Road), advising drivers that ASE cameras will begin operation in 90 days. Emergency Road Closure: Castlederg Road

Following a recent inspection, Castlederg Road from Mount Pleasant Road to Caledon/King Townline Road will be temporarily closed until further notice for emergency culvert repairs.

The culvert repairs will take approximately one month to complete.   

CALEDON, ON (April 12, 2023) – Just under two years after breaking ground, the Caledon East Community Complex (CECC) expansion project will be complete, and the facility fully reopen for use on September 5, 2023, with an official grand opening event set for September 16.
