Traffic Calming makes Caledon roads safe

May 18, 2023 (CALEDON) – The Town of Caledon recently completed a traffic calming project on Dougall Avenue to slow down traffic and create a safer environment.
Enhanced line marking narrows the travel lane on Dougall Avenue, with a new Pedestrian Crossover (PXO) at the intersection of Dougall Avenue and Tundra Road which will be completed shortly.

May 17, 2023 (CALEDON, ON) – The Town of Caledon Fire and Emergency Services department welcomed 11 new volunteer firefighters to the team at a graduation ceremony held this evening at Station 302 in Bolton.

Update Road Closure: Castlederg Road culvert replacement

Castlederg Sideroad from Mount Pleasant Road to Caledon/King Townline Road remains temporarily closed for the replacement of a large road cross culvert.
Town Staff has coordinated with Hydro One to de-energize the hydro lines to install the new culvert this week.
The new culvert will improve the flow of water, enhance the natural eco-system and be made of concrete for optimal service life.
