National Public Works Week: Celebrating Community

Staff who work in areas that provide and maintain public infrastructure and services will be recognized and honoured during National Public Works Week, May 19 – 25, 2019. Town Activities and programs scheduled for the week will celebrate the contributions of public works professionals as well as the communities they serve.

The Town of Caledon is pleased to announce its 2019 Caledon Day line-up, highlighted by a headline performance by four-time JUNO nominated Tokyo Police Club on the Husky Main Stage.

As part of the Revitalizing Caledon Streets Program, the Town of Caledon has initiated a study to explore the feasibility of improving Queensgate Boulevard and Kennedy Road.

Tamarack Subdivision: Environmental Assessment

THE STUDYThe Town of Caledon has initiated a Schedule ‘B’ Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Study to address drainage issues in the Tamarack Estates subdivision.
THE PROCESSIn order to conduct field investigations, “permission to enter” agreements will be sought with landowners in the subdivision. Once alternatives have been identified, a public information centre (PIC) will be held, most likelyin the fall of 2019 (stay tuned for details).
