Highpoint Sideroad will be closed, between Winston Churchill Boulevard and Shaws Creek Road, because of large amounts of water on the on the gravel road.
Friday, April 26, 2019 | 9 a.m. until further notice
The intersection at Highpoint Sideroad and Winston Churchill Boulevard will be closed. The last accessible emergency number driving eastbound on Highpoint Road will be #250.

Please be advised that the Town of Caledon is proposing to rename a section of 'Cross Country Boulevard' to 'Roy Clarkson Way' in recognition of former Assistant District Fire Chief Roy Clarkson.
Proposal
The section of street proposed for renaming is approximately 100 m in length, would extend westerly from Highway 50 to the southward bend in the street and would include the rear entrance driveway to the new fire station under construction at 14002 Highway 50 (map attached). Notice of Public Meeting Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment

John and Ruth Downey have applied for a Zoning By-law Amendment at 13471 Heart Lake Road.
The application prescribes for the following:
- Prohibition of any dwelling construction on the retained portion of the severed lot;
- Identification of the limits of the Environmental Policy Zone to where the floodplain exists;
- Recognition of the minimum lot area of the severed parcel.

Retrofit work will be performed on the stormwater management pond located immediately south of Loring Drive.
No road closures are expected. Local access will be maintained.
