Sister City Agreement with Town of Isola del Liri Signed

Today, the Sister City Agreement with the Town of Caledon and the Town of Isola del Liri in Italy was signed. The Town sent a delegation to Isola del Liri in August 2022 and continues to develop the relationship between the two towns.
"This cultural exchange is a wonderful opportunity both municipalities can benefit from in a sister city relationship," said Mayor Annette Groves. "This twinning agreement will grow our public art, heritage and tourism."

The following road segments are scheduled to undergo road rehabilitation which includes road base improvements, new pavement and roadside drainage enhancements to local ditches and driveway culverts:

June 21, 2023 (CALEDON, ON) – The spongy moth outbreak that peaked in 2021 has declined significantly this year. The spongy moth is still present in some regions of Ontario, however outbreak areas and severity will continue to decline in 2023.

Gravel Road Resurfacing Program - Various Roads

What are we doing?
- Reshaping and placing new granular material on select existing gravel roads.
- To promote positive road surface drainage, improving the driving surface, reduce pothole potential, and providing material for dust suppressant to bond.
- Town staff will start the program on June 12, 2023, with an expected completion date of July 28, 2023, weather permitting.
