New Pedestrian Crossover (PXO) Comes to Caledon

There’s a new crosswalk in Southfields on Dougall Avenue and Tundra Road called a “crossover.”

A pedestrian crossover (PXO) is a special crossing area that allows pedestrians to safely cross the road where vehicles must stop and allow the pedestrian to cross first (yield to pedestrians.)
