June 3, 2024 (CALEDON, ON) – The Town of Caledon is updating the existing Town-Wide Design Guidelines (TWDG) to create a modern approach to development review that’s unique to Caledon. Caledon Volunteer Firefighter recruitment now open

CALEDON, ON (June 3, 2024) – Caledon Fire and Emergency Services is gearing up for their annual recruitment drive to hire volunteer firefighters.
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must:
-
be at least 18 years of age;
-
have a valid G driver’s licence with no more than three demerit points;
-
live within 8 km of a Caledon Fire Station;
-
and have a clean vulnerable sector check.
They must also register for and attend one of three mandatory information sessions:

May 31, 2024 (CALEDON, ON) – The Town of Caledon is conducting a Parking Strategy Study for the Southfields Village Community.
The project team will host its first public consultation on Wednesday, June 12 from 6pm to 8pm at the Southfields Community Centre. All residents of Southfields Village Community are welcome to attend.

This is to inform you that a Draft Policy Options Report has been prepared for the Caledon Supplementary Aggregate Policy Study, and the Town is looking to solicit feedback from the public through an Open House event.
