The Inaugural meeting for Caledon’s newly elected Town Council will take place on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 7 p.m. at the Caledon East Community Complex.

The meeting will consist of the procession of the new Council-Elect, the Declaration of Office and the dedicatory and inaugural address.

The event is open to the public, however seating is limited.

October 31, 2022 – With the end of Daylight Savings Time on Sunday, November 6, residents are reminded to test smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms when turning clocks back by one hour. Change the Hour, Check the Power. If necessary, replace the batteries or the entire unit. All alarms regardless of if they are powered by electricity or battery should be replaced after 10 years.

October 26, 2022 – The Town of Caledon has declared the following candidates elected as a result of the 2022 Municipal and School Board Election held Monday, October 24, 2022. The new term of Council begins on the evening of November 15, 2022.  

The Town of Caledon and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation (MCFN) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding – a significant step in strengthening their relationship.
