Official Plan Amendment |
The purpose of the Official Plan Amendment application is to redesignate the lands from General Agricultural Area to Extractive Industrial A Area to permit an above-water sand and gravel aggregate extraction operation, and Environmental Policy Area to designate the on-site wetland and buffer area for environmental protection. |
Zoning By-law Amendment |
The purpose of the Zoning By-law Amendment application is to rezone the lands from Agricultural (A1) to a site specific Extractive Industrial zoning to permit the sand and gravel aggregate extraction operation, and a site-specific Environmental Policy Area 1 to allow for environmental management, forest management, and an acoustic/visual berm. |
