A new year, a new calendar!

January 6, 2022 – The Town of Caledon today launched a new version of its Council calendar that makes it easier for residents to find, view and participate in the decision-making process.

“We are continually looking for ways to make it easier for residents to engage with Council,” said Mayor Allan Thompson. “Our new calendar is one of the most important features of our website. I invite everyone to visit and get involved, your input is important!”

Located at caledon.ca/agenda, the new calendar is displayed in a handy month view, so users can see at a glance upcoming meetings, or they can switch to a list view depending on their preference. The calendar is also responsive, so users can view it easily on a desktop, tablet or smartphone.

Meetings of Council – as well as various Committees – are displayed with detailed agendas, minutes and information about how to participate.  During the actual meetings, the calendar also provides a live stream broadcast so remote users can watch and listen in real time.  (An audio-only version – by telephone – is also available for those with a slower internet connection.)
