October 2, 2024 (CALEDON, ON) – The fall intake for the Town of Caledon’s Municipal, Agricultural and Community Grant (MACG) program is now open, with applications being accepted from October 2 through November 8, 2024.

The MACG program is part of the Town’s recently rebranded Community Action Fund and supports events, projects and activities that enrich the lives of Caledon residents. The program’s objective is to support eligible initiatives and events that align with the Town’s Strategic Plan.

To enhance the accessibility of the MACG program, we have introduced two intake periods for program funding. Each year, the MACG program will have a fall and spring intake, with the fall intake supporting projects and events taking place from December through May, and the spring intake supporting initiatives taking place from June through November.

Through the Municipal, Agricultural and Community Grant (MACG) program, a total of $167,000 is available annually. Funding is available through the fall and spring intake applications periods.
