“Volunteer firefighters are everyday residents of the Town of Caledon with full time careers and professions who offer to help their community,” said Fire Chief Dave Forfar. “These paid on-call positions are compensated financially for their time when responding to calls, and in return they receive valuable medical training, fire ground training, emergency management experience and life skills. You will also gain an extended family with Caledon Fire and Emergency Services. We are excited to welcome new community-minded recruits to our team and look forward to working with the successful applicants.”
The application period is open now and those eligible to apply have until Monday, October 31 to submit their applications.
