Caledon Fire and Emergency Services welcomes 4 fulltime firefighters to the team

CALEDON, ON (September 30, 2024) – On September 27, Caledon Fire and Emergency Services celebrated the graduation of the latest cohort of fulltime firefighters to join Caledon’s firefighting team.

"It is always a joy to celebrate this milestone event with our new recruits," said Fire Chief Dave Pelayo. “These recruits have completed intensive coursework and obtained the certifications required to be ready to respond in an emergency. Their dedication to serving our community is commendable and we thank them for their service.”

The demand for highly trained emergency responders is increasing as Caledon grows. The Town’s emergency response team is growing and poised to undertake their essential roles, contributing to the safety and preparedness of our community.
