Caledon lowers flags in response to Toronto tragedy
In response to the horrific tragedy in Toronto yesterday in which 10 people were killed and several more injured when a van careened onto a sidewalk on Yonge Street, the Town of Caledon is lowering flags at Town Hall and other Town facilities starting Wednesday, April 25.
“Today, on behalf of Council, I would like to express both our sorrow and our support for the citizens of Toronto,” said Mayor Allan Thompson. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families and the first responders.”
