Call for Caledon Creative Arts Festival Vendors, Performers and Workshop Leaders

May 3, 2024 (CALEDON, ON) – The Town of Caledon is seeking artists and performers for the third annual Caledon Creative Arts Festival in Caledon East. This free festival will take place during Culture Days, on Saturday, September 28, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Caledon East Community Complex and features:

• Artist-led workshops;
• Artist Vendors (ideal applicants include visual artists, painters, sculptors and ceramic artists, illustrators, graphic designers, textile artists, authors and more); and
• On-stage performers (musicians, dancers, performing arts).

“The Creative Arts Festival is back for its third year, and we are excited to invite our area creatives to participate,” said Jason Schildroth, Manager or Recreation and Culture. “Caledon is home to incredible artists and performers. This is a great opportunity for local creatives to connect with residents, fellow artists and the community as a whole. We encourage you to get involved.”

Participating artists in the 2024 Caledon Creative Arts Festival will have the opportunity to engage with residents and visitors at this celebration of all things art, performance, music and creativity. Connect with fellow artists, showcase upcoming workshops, sell pieces – the stage is yours. Be part of an event that showcases Caledon’s vibrant and captivating arts and culture scene.

Applications will be accepted until Friday, June 14 at 4:30 p.m.

Culture Days is a national celebration of arts, culture and heritage, and is scheduled to take place from September 20 to October 13 throughout Caledon. Seeking to eliminate barriers, engage residents, attract visitors and celebrate vibrancy in our communities, the Town invites the community to participate in free “behind the scenes” activities to discover Caledon artists, creators, performers and heritage for our 50^th anniversary.
