Celebrate Earth Hour with family-friendly activities in the Town of Caledon
CALEDON, ON (March 10, 2025) – The Town of Caledon and ecoCaledon invites residents to enjoy an evening of family-friendly fun as we celebrate Earth Hour 2025.
The event will be held at the Caledon East Community Complex, on March 22 from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. Can’t attend in person? You can still participate! Turn off all non-essential lights from 8:30 – 9:30 p.m. to show your support for Earth Hour.
What to Expect:
- Family-Friendly Fun – Enjoy a magic show (6:30 p.m.), yoga (7 p.m.), colouring, and contribute to a paint-by-the-numbers Earth Hour art piece.
- Sustainable Vendor Showcase – Discover eco-friendly vendors, products and solutions to help you reduce your carbon footprint.
- Pledge for the Planet – Commit to a sustainable action for the year and be part of the movement for change!
- Earth Hour Night Walk – Join us on a night walk on the Caledon Trail from 8:30 – 9:30 p.m., guided by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority.
- Get Creative with the Caledon Public Library – Visit the Cory Trepanier Creativity Studio from 6 – 8:30 p.m. for hands-on activities, live makerspace demos, and flashlight story time.
- Eco-Friendly Giveaways & Prizes – Win eco-friendly products and sustainable goodies! One Caledon household can win a free home energy assessment to better understand energy saving opportunities for your home.
- Delicious Treats – Enjoy snacks and refreshments throughout the evening.
Caledon is committed to working towards a net-zero future.
