Cheers Caledon! Craft Beer and Cider Festival announces full lineup
Last year the inaugural Cheers Caledon! Craft Beer and Cider Festival showcased a small but select group of Ontario’s best beverage producers to some 1,200 attendees.
Now, in its second edition, Cheers Caledon! is adding representation from several new craft beer and cider producers as well as a larger offering of food choices and main stage musical entertainment.
“Cheers Caledon! is taking place during Ontario Craft Beer Week and only a couple weeks after Ontario Craft Cider Week,” said Mayor Allan Thompson. “It’s a great opportunity to celebrate the local breweries and cideries in Caledon that are tapping into a growing market and creating real excitement and momentum.”
Joining Caledon’s own Spirit Tree Estate Cidery, Pommies, Caledon Hills, GoodLot Farmstead and Badlands Brewery will be:
- Big Rig Brewery
- Chudleigh's Orchard Cider
- Elora Brewing Co.
- Grand Spirits Distillery
- Great Lakes Brewery
- Hop City Brewing
- Ironwood Hard Cider
- Partake Brewing
- Redline Brewhouse
- Red Thread Brewing Co.
- The Second Wedge Brewing Co. and
- Social Lite
On the food side, well-known local purveyors Howard the Butcher and Miller’s Meats will be joined by some of the top food trucks from around the province:
- The Crazy Canuck Caboose
- Indian Flames
- King Kone, and
- Troy’s Diner
On the main stage DJ Dave Puzzo will kick off the musical entertainment, followed at 9:00 p.m. by “Canada’s Premier Party Band” The Associates.
Cheers Caledon! takes place Friday, June 15, 2018.
Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. Festivities take place on the Caledon Town Hall Civic Campus, 6311 Old Church Road, Caledon East.
