About the winning projects
Better Cities for Pets: In April of 2023, The Town of Caledon was designated a Mars Canada ‘Better City for Pets’. The Town launched a promotional video of pet-friendly places in Caledon from a dog’s-eye view. The aim of this campaign was to instill pride in Caledon residents, promote Caledon as a pet-friendly place for future residents and visitors and begin a registry of local, pet-friendly businesses.
Downtown Bolton Revitalization: Adopted by Council on March 30, 2021, the Downtown Bolton Revitalization Plan was implemented by the Town and a Task Force of committed residents, partners and stakeholders. The goal of the plan is to improve the historic downtown area for residents, business owners and visitors. As of 2023, substantial progress towards these goals has been made.
