Environmental Assessments: Roads and Bridges
The Town of Caledon is studying the following locations to address structural deficiencies, prolong service life, and enhance roadside safety:
Caledon Trailway (2 Locations)
For the replacement of two Caledon Trailway culverts, approximately 0.3 km and 0.15 km north of Isabella Street.
Creditview Road
For the rehabilitation of Creditview Road bridge, approximately 0.1 km north of Station Road.
Old School Road
For the rehabilitation of the Old School Road Bridge, approximately 0.8 km west of Airport Road.
Mill Street
For the rehabilitation of the Mill Street bridge, approximately 0.2 km west of Creditview Road.
Caledon Trailway
For the rehabilitation of the Caledon Trailway bridge, approximately 0.37 km south of Olde Baseline Road.
Boston Mills Road
For the rehabilitation of the Boston Mills Road bridge, approximately 0.02 km west of Chinguacousy Road.
Humber Lea Road
For the rehabilitation of the Humber Lea Road bridge, approximately 0.02 km north of King Street.
THE PROCESS:
These projects are Schedule ‘A+’ undertakings under the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process. A Public Information Centre (PIC) will be scheduled later this year to present designs and address any questions or concerns.
