Family Day free family-fun activities and closures
February 3, 2025 (CALEDON, ON) – This Family Day, the Town of Caledon will be hosting free events that guarantee family fun for everyone. While the festivities are sure to be fun, there are a few closures to keep in mind as well.
Events around Town
Saturday, February 15:
Caledon Public Library Family Friendly Activities
Join Caledon Public Library for family friendly activities across select branches on Saturday, February 15th from 1-3 p.m. Check their events calendar for details.
Sunday, February 16:
Southfields Village Community Clue
Town of Caledon, the Caledon South Asian Association, and The Malton Women Council will be hosting fun activities, including a game of Community Clue, music and dancing, and a free sketching workshop from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Southfields Community Centre.
Stop by and say hello to local firefighters at the Caledon Fire and Emergency Services.
Monday, February 17:
Free Activities with Recreation Caledon
Free drop-in activities are scheduled between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on February 17 at the following locations:
- Albion Bolton Community Centre
- Caledon Centre for Recreation and Wellness
- Caledon East Community Complex
- Lloyd Wilson Centennial Arena
- Southfields Community Centre

Free outdoor skating is available at our outdoor rinks. Visit Caledon.ca/Skating for a list of rinks currently open for use.
Closures on February 17, 2025:
- Town offices and non-emergency services including Animal Services, and Provincial Offences Courts in Orangeville and Caledon East.
- Caledon Public Library Branches will be closed on Sunday and Monday.
