Nominate someone for the Caledon Walk of Fame
The Caledon Walk of Fame honours distinguished Caledon residents past and present who have made a significant contribution to the quality of life locally, nationally and internationally.
Writers, volunteers, artists, athletes, environmentalists… from Norman Jewison, Farley Mowat and Robertson Davies to Conn Smythe, Taylor ‘Hap’ Parnaby and Isabel Bassett, the Walk of Fame recognizes outstanding accomplishments locally, nationally and internationally.
Nominations are now open
Nominations for the 2020 Walk of Fame are now open until Sunday, April 26 at midnight. For more information about criteria and a nomination form visit caledon.ca/walk.
About the Walk of Fame
The Caledon Walk of Fame was launched in 1999 to honour past and present Caledon residents. It is located in the Trans Canada Trail Pavilion Park on the west side of Airport Road in Caledon East.
A stone is placed in honour of each recipient during a formal Walk of Fame ceremony, held annually when there is a qualifying nominee.
