Nominations are now open for the Caledon Sport Hall of Fame
May 13, 2024 (CALEDON, ON) – Sport brings people together, instills pride, and unites communities. The Town of Caledon is seeking nominations for the 2025 class of inductees into the Caledon Sport Hall of Fame. Whether as athletes, builders, or teams, these nominees represent the epitome of dedication and excellence.
Nominations can be made for three categories: Athlete; Builder; and Team. In order to qualify, nominees for all categories must have:
- Been born in Caledon; or
- Maintained residency in Caledon for a minimum of five consecutive years; or
- Been raised or spent their formative years (through training, competing, or working) in Caledon.
“Earlier this year we had the pleasure of inducting nine worthy inductees to the Caledon Sport Hall of Fame during our first annual Hall of Fame ceremony,” said Mayor Annette Groves. “We are excited to see who is nominated this year and who will be considered for the 2025 class of inductees. Be sure to nominate someone or a team who has made an impact in our sporting community.”

The Caledon Sport Hall of Fame (CSHOF) was established in 2018. The hall was created as a place to recognize, memorialize, and celebrate the accomplishments of Caledon athletes, builders and teams, living or passed on, who have excelled at the community, provincial, national and international level(s). The CSHOF has a dedicated space on the second floor of the Caledon East Community Complex.
