This is to inform you that the Town of Caledon has received a Draft Plan of Subdivision and Zoning By-law Amendment (Re-Zoning) Application. Your input and insight will inform and shape plans that meet the needs of our community.

Proposed Changes
The applicant has applied to for Draft Plan of Subdivision and Zoning By-law Amendment applications to facilitate the creation of 18 estate residential lots, environmental blocks and a road network. The Zoning By-law Amendment proposes to re-zone the lands from Rural – Oak Ridges Moraine (A2-ORM) and Environmental Policy Area 2 Zone – Oak Ridges Moraine (EPA2-ORM) to a site-specific Estate Residential – Oak Ridges Moraine – Exception (RE-ORM-XX) and Environmental Policy Area 2 Zone – Oak Ridges Moraine (EPA2-ORM). The Draft Plan of Subdivision will facilitate the creation of residential lots, open space, environmental blocks and a public road network.

Appeal Procedure |
If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Council of the Town of Caledon to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Clerk of the Town of Caledon before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Clerk of the Town of Caledon before the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so. |
