This is to inform you that the Town of Caledon has received an application for a Draft Plan of Subdivision. Your input and insight will inform and shape plans that meet the needs of our community.

Location: 12561 & 12735 Centreville Creek Road and 12706 & 12494 The Gore Road
Proposal
The applicant has submitted a Draft Plan of Subdivision application to facilitate the development of between 2,614 and 3,278 residential units consisting of single-detached dwelling lots, townhouse dwelling lots, and dual-purpose lots to be developed with single detached dwellings or semi-detached dwellings. The proposed subdivision also includes three park blocks, one elementary school block, one wetland relocation block, and three stormwater management blocks.

Appeal Procedure |
If a person or public body would otherwise have the ability to appeal the decision of the Council of the Town of Caledon but does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, if one is held, or make written submissions to the Clerk of the Town of Caledon in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision to the Ontario Land Tribunal. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, if one is held, or make written submissions to the Clerk of the Town of Caledon in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so. |
