Ontario Culture Days Festival is coming to Caledon

CALEDON, ON (September 15, 2023) – The Town of Caledon is pleased to be participating in the annual Ontario Culture Days Festival and showcase Caledon’s art and culture to residents, visitors and other participating municipalities.

Taking place from September 22 to October 15, 2023, Culture Days celebrates arts, culture and heritage across the province. The Town of Caledon, in partnership with the Caledon Public Library, is kicking off the celebration with the Caledon Creative Arts Festival on September 23 in Caledon East. Featuring an artisan market, live music, workshops and showcases, the Caledon Creative Arts Festival provides opportunities to learn, explore and create in your own backyard.

“We are thrilled to be participating in Culture Days this year,” said Jason Schildroth, Manager of Community and Cultural Development. “Culture Days is not only an opportunity to share Caledon’s culture on a wider scale but to also engage with the communities and cultures around us.”

One of the priorities identified in the Town’s Strategic Plan is to enhance community vitality and livability by creating a network of vibrant villages and hamlets that welcome businesses, visitors and residents while embracing Caledon’s heritage. Participation in the Ontario Culture Days Festival allows events to function both as community celebrations and tourism opportunities – where visitors participating in local events find themselves immersed in a celebration of Caledon.
