Open House: Visioning Workshop
The Town of Caledon initiated the Preservation of Rural Community Character and Infill Policy Review to develop an appropriate policy framework for governing infill development in established settlements which includes Caledon East, Alton, Caledon Village, Inglewood, Mono Mills, Palgrave, Cheltenham, Albion, Belfountain, Campbell’s Cross, Cataract, Claude, Melville, Mono Road, Terra Cotta and Wildfield.
A key objective of this Review is to evaluate the Official Plan policies and recommend modifications to ensure they are effective in maintaining the character of our neighbourhoods. Potential topics of interest include: monster homes, compatibility, preservation, connectivity and vitality.
We invite you to join us at the first Open House that will feature a brief presentation to introduce the study and an interactive Visioning Workshop in which you will be able to share your insight about valued characteristics of the Town’s villages and hamlets.
