CALEDON, ON (March 27, 2024) The Town of Caledon wishes everyone a happy Easter. Please note, Easter closures vary. Town offices will be closed on Friday, March 29 reopening on Monday, April 1, 2024.

Provincial Offences Courts

Provincial Offences Courts in Orangeville and Caledon East will be closed on Friday, March 29 and Monday, April 1, reopening on Tuesday April 2.

Animal Services

The Animal Shelter will be closed on Friday, March 29 and open for usual hours beginning Saturday, March 30.

Library Closures 

All Libraries will be closed on Friday March 29.

All Libraries will be open for usual hours on Saturday, March 30.

All Libraries will be closed Sunday, March 31 and Monday, April 1.

The library will reopen on Tuesday, April 2.

Recreation Caledon

All recreation facilities will be closed on Friday, March 29 and Sunday, March 31, 2024.

All recreation facilities will be open for usual hours on Saturday, March 30 and Monday, April 1.

After-hours Emergencies  

For after-hours emergencies such as downed trees on roads or flooding, call the Region of Peel at 1-800-563-7881.   

To report an urgent issue about a stray domestic animal (certain conditions apply) or a sick and/or injured animal, call the Town’s after-hours service at 1-800-563-7881.  

For power outages or to report downed wires, call Hydro One at 1-800-434-1235. To view the status of power outages, view the outage map.  

The non-emergency number for the Caledon Ontario Provincial Police is 1-888-310-1122.  

If the emergency is life-threatening, call 9-1-1.
