“Our public works team strives every day to provide quality services to the Town of Caledon, in a fast, effective and safe manner, so it’s important we take the time to recognize their hard work during National Public Works Week,” said Brian Baird, Director of Operations. “We’re excited for our public engagement events being held and look forward to meeting students and the public who are interested in learning more about public works.”

National Public Works Week is celebrated annually to educate the public about the value of public works projects throughout North America and internationally. This week is used to educate the public on the importance of public works to their daily lives, such as planning, building, managing and operating in municipalities to improve everyday quality of life.
