Town of Caledon is calling all artists to get involved for the Art in the Halls fall intake

August 12, 2024 (CALEDON, ON) – The Town of Caledon has launched its fall intake for the Art in the Halls program, which showcases original artwork from Caledon artists on display in throughout the community in Town facilities.

"Summer Art in the Halls exemplifies how public art can significantly enhance community vitality and livability." said CAO Nathan Hyde. "By showcasing local talent and fostering creative expression, this initiative brings people together, sparks conversations and reinforces our shared sense of place and identity."

From September 16 through January 2, 2025, art will be displayed providing a platform for local and emerging artists, instructors and students in the community, providing benefits, such as:

• To provide local and emerging artists with exhibition experience
• An opportunity to continually showcase artwork for sale in highly visible public spaces 
• Be featured on the Caledon.ca/art website and appear in Town of Caledon social media posts

The theme for our fall intake is Fall in love with Caledon.

Applications for the fall exhibition period are due by Friday, August 30, 2024.
