Town of Caledon is calling all artists to get involved for the Art in the Halls Winter Exhibition

November 22, 2024 (CALEDON, ON) – The winter exhibition for Art in the Halls is upon us, and the Town of Caledon is looking for local artists to participate and have their original artwork on display in Town facilities throughout the community.

“Caledon has a strong and talented community of artists, and several have been featured in Town buildings since this program started last spring,” said CAO Nathan Hyde. “A thriving artistic community not only enhances the cultural and social life of our community but, also contributes to its economic vitality and attractiveness as a place to live and visit.”

From January 20 until April 11, 2025, art will be displayed providing a platform for local and emerging artists, instructors and students in the community, providing benefits, such as:

  • To provide local and emerging artists with exhibition experience
  • An opportunity to continually showcase artwork for sale in highly visible public spaces
  • Be featured on the Caledon.ca/art website and appear in Town of Caledon social media posts

The theme for our winter intake is The Art of Winter’s Beauty.

Applications for the winter exhibition period are due by Friday, December 20, 2024.
