Town of Caledon launches 2024 Holiday Lights Map

November 29, 2024 – (CALEDON, ON) – Just in time for the holiday season, the Town of Caledon has launched its 2024 Holiday Lights Map – your ultimate guide to Caledon during the festive season. Residents and business owners are encouraged to add their property to our map so our community can enjoy their outdoor décor.

Once again, you could win one of three great prizes by participating!

“Caledon is such a beautiful community all year-round, and what better way to celebrate the holiday season than by sharing the amazing light displays from properties around town,” said Mayor Annette Groves. “I encourage everyone to check out our Holiday Lights Map and take a drive around to enjoy the light displays.”

The Town of Caledon has installed holiday displays across all villages and hamlets. The map features dazzling light exhibits such as:

  • The 40-foot Christmas tree in Caledon Village;
  • Holiday lights at the John Clarkson Park Skate loop in Southfields Village;
  • Iridescent reindeer and festive gazebo in Palgrave; and more!

“This is a great initiative for residents and businesses to show pride in our community, encouraging visits to our parks, neighbourhoods and downtowns,” said Jason Schildroth, Manager of Recreation and Culture. “The Community and Cultural Development team will choose one winner for each of our three categories: Most Colourful and Vibrant; Best Decorated Business; and Most Festive. Spread some happiness this holiday season by adding your light display to our map for all to enjoy!”

Entries to the Holiday Lights Map must be submitted by Tuesday, December 31 and winners will be contacted by email in January 2025. For more details and to embark on your luminous adventure, visit Haveyoursaycaledon.ca/2024holidaylightsmap.
