Business Opening: Hidden Serenity Spa

Hidden Serenity Spa located in Caledon Village is Caledon’s newest relaxation destination, we asked owner Susan Fisher to tell us about the business and why she decided to locate here.

Tell us about you and your business.

I am the sole owner of Hidden Serenity Spa.  My background is in Automotive.

I recently left the auto business and decided to try something new.

Hidden Serenity is a day spa located in quaint Caledon Village.  Clients can come in and escape everyday life whether it’s for an hour or the day.

Hidden Serenity offers an assortment of facials, body treatments, manicures, pedicures and many more services.

Why did you get into the business?

To be quite honest it was a suggestion from a family member and I just ran with it.

Change is always good, and I believe we can learn something new every day.  It’s a far cry from the auto business, in fact I would say its total opposite.  I’m excited to learn as I grow.

Why are you locating your business in Caledon?

Caledon is where I want to be, plain and simple.  I’ve lived in Caledon for over seven years.

I used to commute to Toronto five to seven days a week, it’s nice to be close to home.  

What’s your favourite treatment/service that you offer?

Our facials are amazing.  You feel relaxed and glowing after the treatment.  Body treatments are also a love of mine.

What is your favourite thing to do in Caledon?

I would say I like to walk the land of Caledon, whether at a friend’s farm or I just pick a road for the scenery. 

Caledon also has numerous fantastic restaurants I like to frequent.

I’m a firm believer in giving back to the community and supporting our local businesses.
