January 1, 2024 (CALEDON, ON) – The Town of Caledon is thrilled to announce the launch of a year-long celebration in honour of its 50th birthday on January 1, 2024. Join us as we embark on a journey through five decades of community, culture, agriculture, and vibrant heritage, commemorated through a diverse array of events, initiatives, and activities taking place throughout the year.

Highlights of the Celebration:

  • Caledon Day: What could be more fitting than celebrating Caledon’s 50th at Caledon Day on June 15, 2024. Join us at our largest community festival for a grand celebration featuring live music, family-friendly activities, vendors, and a spectacular display of fireworks.
  • Culture Days: Immerse yourself in the rich cultural tapestry of Caledon during Culture Days, with a special program highlighting the town's artistic expressions, heritage, and traditions.
  • Pop-Up Exhibitions: Explore the history and evolution of Caledon through pop-up exhibitions strategically located at community centres and Town Hall. These exhibitions will offer a glimpse into the Town's past, present, and future.
  • Community Engagement Initiatives: Throughout the year, residents are encouraged to share their personal stories, memories, and reflections on Caledon's impact on their lives. Social media campaigns and interactive events will be organized under the hashtag #Caledon50.
