Construction Notice: Asphalt Paving - Various Roads Surface Patching and Paving

Repaving of the road surface due to deficiencies found over the winter months, on various roads throughout the Town of Caledon

The following roads will have crack sealing completed this year:

Patterson Side Road - from Humber Station Road to Gore Road
Caledon - East Garafraxa Town Line - from Shaws Creek Road to Just West of 19th Line
Humber Station Road - from Patterson Side Road to Highway 9
Horseshoe Hill Road - from The Grange Side Road to 17040 The Grange Side Road
Mount Pleasant Road - from Coates Hill to Hunsden Side Road

Please note: Many locations not listed as minimal impact to commuters is expected.

Schedule is weather dependent. Contractor will commence work in early May and continue through summer.

Unfortunately, the Town has historically discovered communications cables installed closer to the ground surface than specified. If these lines are closer to the surface than the Bell/Rogers specification a line may inadvertently be cut by the construction crew. It is Bells/Rogers responsibility to provide you with a service that is buried to a sufficient depth and they will need to address any line outages.

We will need to reduce traffic to a single lane during construction and Traffic Control persons will be used with proper signage.

Contractor’s normal working hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but a shorter working day would mean the project would take longer to complete.
