NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION

 

Mill Lane Pedestrian Bridge Rehabilitation

 

Bridge rehabilitation works will be completed on the Mill Lane pedestrian bridge structure (ID: B22302052), approx. 1.0 km East of the Gore Road in Caledon.

 

The works are anticipated to start the week of July 22nd.  Increased traffic and delays within this section of road are to be expected throughout the duration of the bridge rehabilitation project. Existing Full Road Closure at the adjacent watercourse bridge crossing due to Mill Lane Bridge Rehab project (started April 2024) and New Full Trail Closure at the pedestrian bridge crossing. The last available emergency access Eastbound of Gore Road is 7794 Mill Lane. The last available emergency access Westbound of Humber St Road is 7830 Mill Lane. Traffic Control signs were in place at least one week prior to starting of the project. Please see attached key plan.
