NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION

Storm Sewer Cured-in-Place Pipe Lining and Repairs

(Humber Lea Road, Bolton)

Construction will be commencing on the trenchless lining of the storm sewer along Humber Lea Road from Kingsview Drive to King Street East in Bolton.

Phase 1 of the project will involve the inspection and cleaning of the storm sewer in advance of the lining and will be undertaken in July 2023. Phase 2 of the project will involve the installation of the liner using a trenchless methodology and will be undertaken in August 2023. For both phases:

The southbound lane of Humber Lea Road will be closed to traffic from Kingsview Drive to King Street East. The northbound lane of Humber Lea Road will remain open to traffic. Local access to homes, driveways and mailboxes will be maintained.

The southbound lane of Humber Lea Road will be reopened anytime the Contractor is not onsite. 

Please note that fumes/odours may be generated periodically by the cured-in-place-pipe lining process during Phase 2 of the project in August 2023. All fumes/odours will be intermittent in nature and should dissipate within a few hours.
