Town of Caledon recruiting for Accessibility Advisory Committee and Age-Friendly Task Force
The Town of Caledon is currently seeking experienced and dedicated citizens interested in bringing their knowledge and passion to serve the Caledon community. The Town promotes and encourages civic engagement. Committees and task forces play an important role in guiding community improvements and making recommendations to Council.
We are currently recruiting for the following opportunities:
Accessibility Advisory Committee
The Town of Caledon’s Accessibility Advisory Committee is looking to welcome an enthusiastic to advocate for opportunities to remove barriers for persons with disabilities in the Town of Caledon. The Committee acts to advise and provide input on accessibility standards in the Town and works for an inclusive Caledon.
Age-Friendly Task Force
The Age-Friendly Task Force is looking for a new member to assist with the implementation and achieving the deliverables of the Town of Caledon Age-Friendly Action Plan. Members also advocate on behalf of older adult (55+) residents to ensure that they are able to age well and age in place in the community by ensuring that there are housing, programs and services available.
